First Entry!

While doing research for my essay, I was reading through old issues of the face & happened upon this Alexander McQueen cover from 1998. The magazine was battered and tattered which only adds to the grittiness of the Image. McQueen was asked to explain the Art direction for the shoot he did with Nick Knight which accompanied the cover and this was his hand written response

"Joan (Jeanne d'Arc)
Deep inside of me I have no regrets of the way I portray myself to the general Public.
I will face fear head on if necessary but would run from a fight if persuaded.
The fire in my soul is for one man but I do not forget my women whom I adore as they burn daily from Cheshire to Gloucester." A.McQueen X 98

I photocopied it in black & white because they're now charging us 35 cent a sheet for colour photocopying In our library.. The B&W image works just fine!
