Back in 2000 (I think, I could be wrong) Daft Punk did a collaboration with Habitat. They designed a coffee table. It had a small dance floor on the top with 9 squares that lit up intermittently independent of each other. It was £2,000 (Punts) at the time. I would have bought it had I have had the money. I didn't have a living room to put it in but I would have bought it so I had my very own dance floor.
Their latest collaboration is with Coca Cola. The company in France has had them produce a limited edition Coke bottle.

31 Million Bottles Of Jemmy On The Wall!
Jameson is by far the best selling Irish Whiskey in the world with 31 million bottles sold per annum. The Wall Street Journal writes in the article
'Jameson Pours Out Tall Tale To Lure Younger Drinkers'
Whiskey Uses Shot of Invention to Stress Its Irish Roots
Irish whiskey brand Jameson wants its "history" to be a laughing matter.
A new television commercial, scheduled to start airing in the U.S. late this month, depicts Jameson founder John Jameson saving his distillery from a huge fire by single-handedly busting a dam and flooding 18th-century Dublin.
The spot is meant as a humorous reminder of Jameson's Irish heritage. At the end, Dubliners congratulate Mr. Jameson for rescuing the distillery despite the harm done to their homes and their city.
The Ad below is aimed at a younger 'hipper' American Demographic.
I didn't realise we had a dam in 18th century Dublin?!

Adele
There's an overwhelming amount of love pouring in from every angle for Adele. From her live performances its no surprise when she sings, it comes from her boots! With the hint of grit that's in her vocals and the growing tidal wave of beat that is "Rolling In The Deep" she brings you to your feet . The font used in the album cover is similar if not identical to the font and colour used in the YOUR M&S logo and advertising campaigns. It's more of an observation than a criticism. I noticed it when walking through Euston Underground Station on a recent trip to London and was discussing it with my friend Sarah last night (she's a typeface NERD). Anyway, I get the feeling it'll be album of the year hands down.
